Nyna, his best friend, partner and more than the equal half decided to put this project together as surprise. Oh the roller coaster madness that ensued till the last day was spectacular. Sunil Bharti Mittal, the name synonymous with magnanimous, perfectionist and a stickler for processes – be it professional or personal life. There was no room for error for this pictorial autobiography.

A lot of hard work, research, odd hour calls, revisiting and reworking. The result a masterpiece. As one of India’s top photographers I can create spectacular that I have no doubt about, but the credit is not mine alone. The material that went into the book, the insight into his life and being privy to candid, intimate and emotional details of his life left me overwhelmed to the extent of being inspired beyond.

How the man turned himself into a brand, his stories, his stumbles and his achievements leave we astounded. The trust placed in me, pushed my creativity and motivation to another level all together. Till the final print was out and approved, I was living and breathing the story.

It is a masterpiece I am extremely proud of. While I can share my experience in curating it, I have the respect the privacy of the baron and not divulge more. It is the subjects and stories like these that keep the fire in my belly burning. The faith with which their life is handed over in concepts and to make it into an autobiography that speaks of the history of an empire truly overwhelming.
